Lodgepole pine trees commonly split from a single trunk into 2 or more trunks above the main trunk. We harvest logs with these splits in place and use matched slabs in single and ensemble pieces. The slab in this style table appears to be a confluence or a pair of pants. A matching cocktail table is available from the same log.
