Chutes are cut from select logs chosen for distinct grain patterns. The logs are cut to maximize the used cross sections of trees which results in dramatic cracks and splits in the wood. Slight tapers are cut on 2 sides of the “Chutes” to intersect the glass pocket which adds unique shapes to each piece.Colored epoxy fills the crack and colors are made to order.
